Fr years, we’re tld that BMI (身体质量指数) is the standard. When yu type in yur height and weight, this frmula (公式) will give a number frm underweight t healthy t verweight. And the latest thinking is that we need t think mre than this number.

The thinking behind this frmula is that where yu stre fat can be mre imprtant than hw much yu weigh. T much fat in the abdmen (腹部) may lead t a higher risk f heart disease.
“I wuldn’t use this frmula t suggest what smene shuld weigh,” says Dr. Jay. “Hw are they feeling? What’s their bld sugar? Hw well are they sleeping? All these need t be cnsidered.”
S what’s yur ideal weight? It’s hard t say. “Ask yurself if yu are living a healthy lifestyle.” Dr. Jay says. “When living healthily, the weight yur bdy settles at (稳定) and keeps is what’s best fr yu.”

      Dear Helen,
Wish yu were here. I visited the Great Wall recently, and it was really an unfrgettable experience! I climbed several watchtwers, and even thugh it was tiring, the view frm the tp was s great that all the hard wrk was wrth it. The scenery alng the wall was amazing, with muntains stretching as far as the eye culd see. The wall lks like a huge dragn running thrugh the muntains. Lking at the ancient bricks, I was deeply impressed by the hard wrk f the peple wh built it thusands f years ag. I felt like I had traveled back in time t ancient China. I truly felt a strng cnnectin t China’s lng histry. It’s nt just a wall, but a symbl f the Chinese spirit. Just like a Chinese pem says, “He wh has never been t the Great Walls is nt a true man.” I sincerely hpe yu’ll have the chance t visit this wnder ne day.
      Best regards and wishes!
