After graduating frm Nrtheast Electric Pwer University in 2011, Ya was emplyed by the cmpany. Since then, she has dealt with nearly 50 key prductin prcesses fr 13types f high-speed trains and slved 76 technical issues.
At first, she wasn't clear abut the specifics f her jb. She was arranged t cnnect train wires, which requires remving insulatin(绝缘层). T accurately remve it, she practiced ver 200 times every day. She and her clleagues wrked within a space f less than five square meters, s she had t kneel(跪着) t wrk fr tw t three hurs at a time.
Ya discvered later that despite having the same standards, the cmpletin was quite different amng wrkers— sme wire ends had burrs(毛刺), sme wire cils were ut f shape. These issues might seem unimprtant n the surface, but they brught safety risks t train peratins. Ya spent a mnth thinking ut a slutin and created five electrical sample bards(样板). Every wire's cnnectin pints, wiring psitins and directins were shwn in detail n each bard. As lng as wiring is dne accrding t this standard, the quality will be ensured.
Ya has been develping her skills and imprving her wrk, starting frm upgrading blueprints, imprving tls and setting standards, while als cnstantly summarizing the technical challenges in imprving wiring efficiency, which has greatly increased prductin efficiency and reduced prductin csts in practical applicatins.
Ya was awarded as ne f the cmpany's tp ten utstanding yung emplyees. “I hpe t inspire mre clleagues with my actins and cllectively wrk twards creating a shining example fr Chinese manufacturing,” she said.

Studies have shwn that writing by hand can have enrmus(极大的) beneficial impacts in terms f memry, brain develpment, and even the quality f writing itself.
Sme might say that handwriting has becme a dying art since the advent f the typewriter in the mid 1880s, even mre s due t cmputers. In fact, nwadays, sme schls in the United States n lnger require teaching handwriting as a part f the main curses. Hwever, despite the sense that writing n paper is ut f fashin, it actually has a number f very imprtant strengths.
Writing by hand is nt nly imprtant fr language prcessing and memry, but it is als imprtant fr mental develpment. In learning t write by hand, the human brain must cmbine feeling, mvement cntrl, and thinking. Fr whatever reasn, it des nt d s when learning t type.
Writing by hand is gd fr mental health, and there are sme studies that can prve it. Writing n paper can help students recall material better than typing n a keybard. Similarly, a study frm 2014 shws that cmpared t writing by hand, taking ntes n a laptp results in a less deep absrptin f the learned material. This is because when using a laptp, students ften type ut lectures wrd fr wrd instead f prcessing infrmatin and rewrding it in their wn language.
These advantages actually translate t hw yu recall the infrmatin. In this case, writing by hand instead f typing als helps students d better n exams. Children write lnger and mre cmplex essays when they are writing by hand, cmpared with using a keybard. Children usually d better writing with a pen when they write essays. They write mre and faster.
The next time yu want t sit dwn t write an email t a lved ne, why nt try writing a handwritten letter instead? It can be mre beneficial t yur brain. Plus, the persnal tuch f a handwritten letter can make yur message even mre special and memrable.

      C. Its develpment. D. Its advantages.
      30. What happens when students use a laptp instead f a pen t take ntes?
      A. They have a lwer understanding f the material.
      B. They d better in writing essays.
      C. They are less cnfident abut their exams.
      D. They recall mre wrds.
      31. What is the authr's purpse in writing the last paragraph?

A rare mss (苔藓) called takakia has adapted ver hundreds f millins f years t survive the extremes f life n the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. And there is a team f researchers wh have been studying the mss fr nearly ten years. Takakia is fund nly n the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
Takaki a in this lcatin has been buried under snw fr eight mnths f the year, and it faced strng UV rays when it came frm its snwy cver. Takaki a has been develping here fr ver 65 millin years, with the habitat increasingly becming extreme. The researchers recrd hw climate change has greatly changed the mss’ habitat within just a few years. And the team is surprised t find takakia's shape in 165 millin-year-ld fssils(化石), shwing that genetic changes affecting the shape develped mre than 165 millin years ag under wildly different cnditins.
Despite having hundreds f millins f years t adapt t climate change, the little mss will be ended if the glbal climate keeps getting warmer. Since they began taking measurements f takakia’ s habitat in the early 2010s, the researchers have described an average temperature increase f almst 0.5℃ per year. Meanwhile, the glacier(冰川) near sample sites is melting at an alarming pace— arund 50 meters per year. The researchers nte that takakia's ppulatins have becme significantly smaller ver the study perid. During the ten years, the cverage f takakia's ppulatins decreased by 1.6% every year, faster than that f fur lcal cmmn msses—a trend they expect t cntinue.
“Our study shws hw valuable takakia is in tracing the develpment f land plants. The ppulatin reductin we fund is frightening,” a researcher says. “Luckily, knwing that the plant is threatened(威胁) r dying ut als gives us a chance t prtect it. Fr example, we can grw it in the lab,” anther researcher says. “Takaki a has seen the dinsaurs cme and g. It has seen us humans cming. Nw we can learn smething abut adaptive ability and survival challenges frm this mss.”
      32. What can be inferred abut takakia n the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau frm the text?
      A. Its habitat is free frm snw.
      B. It has been develping wildly in China.
      C. It has adapted t extreme cnditins fr quite a time.
      D. Its genes have been unchanged fr millins f years.
      33. What might be the main threat t takakia accrding t paragraph 3?
      A. The rise f glacial water.
      B. Human harvesting.
      C. The cmpetitin with the lcal msses.
      D. Glbal warming.
      34. What is the attitude f the tw researchers in the last paragraph t takakia?
      A. Caring. B. Curius. C. Indifferent. D. Impatient.
      35. Which f the fllwing can be the best title fr the text?
      A. The Ancient Histry f Takakia
