      Cali std up and tk a deep breath. She knew she had tried her best. That was smething t be prud f. S she smiled at her aunt and headed t her psitin. The whistle blew, and the game cntinued.
      The scre was tied with ne gal each. Girls frm bth team ran wildly after the ball. Cali was standing t the side when the ball headed her way. She ran ver t it and kicked it but it was stpped by a girl frm yellw team. Cali sighed. The ball went back and frth between the players. Cali’s heart wasn’t in the game anymre. Suddenly, there came sme sweet happy music. It was frm an ice cream truck, which was driving right beside the sccer field, playing its music ludly t attract custmers.

Cali steadied herself, aimed carefully, and with a pwerful kick, sent the ball flying int the tp crner f the net. The referee blew her whistle. “Gal!” The crwd erupted in cheers, and her teammates rushed t hug her. Cali felt a rush f pride and jy — she had finally scred her first gal.
