      Step 1 Review and Lead - in (5 minutes)
      Use the PPT t shw sme pictures f plants and animals. Let the students use the superlative frm f adjectives in sentence patterns t describe their characteristics, reviewing the vcabulary and sentence patterns learned in the previus lessn.
      Randmly select students and ask sme basic questins abut the superlative frm f adjectives, such as the frmatin rules and cmmn irregular changes, t check the students' mastery.
      Step 2 Grammar Explanatin (10 minutes)
      Present the sentences in Grammar Fcus. Guide the students t bserve the usage f the superlative frm f adjectives and summarize its structure and change rules.
      Fcus n explaining sme cnfusing knwledge pints, such as the difference between "the mst + adjective" and "adjective + est", and the frmatin f the superlative frm f multi - syllable adjectives. Analyze thrugh example sentences t help the students understand.
      Let the students d sme simple sentence - making exercises, using the superlative frm f adjectives t describe things arund them. Invite sme students t share their sentences and give timely feedback and guidance.
      Step 3 Reading Training (15 minutes)
      Skimming the article: Shw the reading material in 3c. Let the students quickly skim the article and answer the questin "What is the main idea f the passage?" t cultivate their ability t btain the main idea f the article.
      Intensive reading: Read the article again. Let the students read intensively with the questin "What are the specific characteristics f the ginkg tree described in the passage?" Ask the students t find the key infrmatin in the article and mark it. After reading, rganize the students t have a grup discussin and share the infrmatin they fund. The teacher walks arund the grups and gives necessary guidance and help.
      Learning language knwledge: Cmbine the reading article t explain the key vcabulary and phrases in the article, such as "ancient", "cmmn", etc. Help the students understand their usage thrugh example sentences. At the same time, guide the students t pay attentin t the sentences using the superlative frm f adjectives in the article and analyze their expressive effects.
      Step 4 Writing Practice (10 minutes)
      Writing guidance: Based n the reading article and the cntent learned in this lessn, guide the students t d a writing practice. Give the writing tpic, such as "My Favrite Plant/Animal". Help the students srt ut their writing ideas and list the writing pints, such as the appearance, characteristics, and status in the ecsystem f the plant r animal, and use the superlative frm f adjectives t highlight its uniqueness.
      Students' writing: Let the students write accrding t the pints they listed. Require them t use the learned vcabulary and sentence patterns with the superlative frm f adjectives, and try t make the sentences smth and the expressin clear.       Presentatin and evaluatin: Invite sme students t share their cmpsitins.
