6.过去进行时和一般过去时的区别

过去进行时中的when与while引导的时间状语从句
相同点：when和while均可作连词，意为“当……的时候”，引导时间状语从句，和过去进行时连用。

过去进行时中的when与while引导的时间状语从句
when引导的时间状语从句通常与瞬间性动词或延续性不强的动词连用。
瞬间性动词指动作极为短暂，瞬间结束。如： start, begin, hit, jump, knck等。
when引导的时间状语从句与瞬间性动词连用时，用一般过去时，主句用过去进行时。

延续性动词指动作可以延续一段时间，而不是瞬间结束。如：wrk, study, drink, eat等。
when引导的时间状语从句与延续性不强的延续性动词连用时，用过去进行时，主句用一般过去式。
