I gt a chance t see a dem (演示)f Sra, which is a new vide-making tl frm OpenAI. It was really amazing, but it als made me feel wrried abut what's ging t happen in the future.
Vide is nw a new area that AI is explring. OpenAI has just intrduced Sra in the US, and Meta has als said they have their wn tl called Mvie Gen that can turn text int vide. But the questin is, are we really ready fr a wrld where we can't tell if the vides we see are real r nt?
This new technlgy, just like the nes that make AI text r pictures, can create shrt vide parts based n the instructins we give. In the Sra dem, it made a vide f a tree frg in the Amazn that lked like a nature dcumentary. The vide lked very real, but when I watched the tree frg, I didn't feel s excited. Instead, I felt a little sad. Because the tree frg, the branch it was n, and the rainfrest it lived in, nne f them were real. The scene lked gd, but it was actually empty inside.
In the past few years, the tls that make AI text and pictures have develped very fast. But vide made by AI seems even mre dangerus. In the past, it was harder t change mving pictures than still nes, but nw AI is changing this. Sme bad peple use AI t cpy peple's vices and cheat them ut f mney. And sme peple wh spread false infrmatin use smething called deepfakes fr different reasns. The peple wh made these AI tls seem t knw abut these prblems, and they are trying t fix them by adding sme safety things.
When I watched the tree frg vide made by AI, I kept thinking abut what the meaning f it was. We like nature dcumentaries because they shw real things and it's nt easy t get thse vides. But AI vides are made by learning frm ld vides, s they can never be as real as the nes taken in nature.
Maybe it desn't matter hw a vide is made. But what makes me sad is the cheating in AI vides. As AI vides lk mre and mre real, they might take away the beauty f real phts and vides. We can't trust ur eyes anymre, and we have t be like detectives t find ut if a vide is real r nt. I shared a cute rabbit vide n Instagram nt lng ag, and my husband asked if it was made by AI. That questin made the fun f sharing the vide g away. In a wrld where anything can be fake, maybe everything we see is nt real.

    B. the tree frg is an endangered animal.
    C. It reminded her f the decline f rainfrests.
    D. It lwered her amazement fr nature dcumentaries.

    B. Higher prductin csts fr real vides.
