What Is Wrld Earth Day?
The first ever Earth Day was held in 1970 and since then it is recgnised by mre than a billin peple arund the wrld.
It is an pprtunity fr peple t shw their supprt fr the envirnment and cme tgether t take actin t help prtect the Earth.
The Earth is always changing but humans have nw started t change the planet in harmful ways.
Bidiversity means the variety f living things (such as plants and animals) in an area.
Why Is Earth Day Imprtant?
As mre and mre peple live n Earth, we need mre energy, land and water fr everyne. This starts t affect the bidiversity（生物多样性） f ur planet.
Many types f plants and animals are nw becming extinct（灭绝） faster than ever befre. This means there are nne f them left alive.
