Since it began in the late 20th century, the Cntemprary Art Mvement has raised questins and dubts, with peple asking, “Is it really art?” This was the case in 1999 with British artist Tracey Emin’s wrk, My bed — which was, quite literally, her unmade bed. Then, in 2015, cleaners in an Italian gallery threw away an art piece after mistaking the pile f empty bttles, cigarette ends and pieces f clured paper fr rubbish! While sme say cntemprary art lacks skill, meaning and artistic value, thers argue that its wrth lies in its ability t stimulate new discussins and understanding f everyday bjects.
