    [形容词]既可作定语也可作表语。 be plite t sb. 对某人有礼貌 Jack is a plite by. He’s always plite t thers.杰克是一个有礼貌的男孩,他对别人总是很有礼貌。

    (1) if在此作连词,意为“如果”,引导条件状语从句,从句可以放在主句前,也可以放在主句后。

    (2)在含有if引导的条件状语从句的复合句中,如果主句用一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时表示将来,即遵循“主将从现”的原则。

    句子重音 在句子中,有的单词重读,有的不重读,那些比较重要的词保留着重读,这些重读音就叫句子重音。一般情况下,如名词、动词、形容词、副词、数词等在句中要重读,如介词、冠词、连词、人称代词、情态动词肯定式等不重读,这样就形成了以句子为单位的词的轻重交替。英语句子按“词的相对重要性”形成“句子重音”。例如:1. —'What 'time d yu 'usually 'get 'up? —At 'eight 'thirty in the 'mrning.2. —'Hw d yu 'get t 'schl? —I 'ride my 'bike. It’s 'gd 'exercise.
    动词-ing (短语) 作主语
    Keeping the rules在本句中作主语。单个动词-ing (短语)作主语时,谓语动词通常用单数形式。
