Vlunteers in Grup One were asked t listen t an audibk while vlunteers in Grup Tw read a bk f the same cntent (内容). It turned ut that they recalled as much infrmatin, whether they listened t r read it.
Anther study frm The Jurnal f Neurscience further supprted the result abve. In the study, researchers scanned (扫描) peple’s brains when they listened t and read bks. The result shwed that listening t audibks activated (激活) almst the same parts f the brain as reading did.
Hwever, sme peple still believe that they learn better frm reading paper bks. Human-caused climate change influences the cean in many ways, such as changing its temperature, salt level, and acidity (酸度). Researchers used cmputers t mdel hw thse changes influence nise levels acrss the cean. They cmpared the mdels f the wrld nw t thse f the wrld in abut 70 years if climate change cntinues. In the Nrth Atlantic, they saw an increase in sund levels in the upper 125 meters f the Ocean.
This was caused mstly by ice melting (融化) frm Greenland, frming a cld layer f water near the Ocean’s surface. When sund travels thrugh water, it turns tward the cldest layer. This made sund waves get stuck in the cld tp layer and spread further ut acrss the water instead f traveling deeper. As a result, the sund became luder at this depth in the Nrth Atlantic.
