Step 1 Warming up & Leading in

2. Sectin B 2a. Ask ne student t write the cmparative frms f the adjectives n the blackbard. And then ask ne r tw students t read the sentences they wrte.

Discuss the fllwing language pints and fill in the blanks.
1. serius变比较级要在其前加mre,与serius变化规律一样的形容词,我们学过的还有utging。

汤姆的朋友比他更稳重。
2. as lng as 意为“只要”,在句中引导条件状语从句,可以用s lng as 代替。
As lng as yu wrk hard,yu will get gd grades.
你只要努力学习,就会取得好成绩。
3. be different frm 意为“与……不同”,其反义短语为the same as。
This car is different frm that ne. 这辆汽车不同于那一辆。
4. bth 与all的辨析。
(1)bth指两个人或物,而all指三个或三个以上的人或物,在句中都可作主语、宾语、表语、同位语或定语。

(2)bth和all都可直接修饰名词,名词前若有限定词,其前常用bth f或all f。

(4)bth的反义词是neither,all的反义词是nne。
