    The theme f the Listening and Speaking lessn is “ Invite a friend t a sprt event”, which is abut describing a sprt event and make an invitatin. Students will knw lts f basic infrmatin f sme sprt event.
    The theme f Reading and Thinking lessn is “ LIVING LEGENDS”. It’s abut the experiences and achievements f Lang Ping and Michael Jrdan. Students will learn the excellent qualities f these tw successful persn.
    The grammar item f the Discvering Useful Structure lessn is the questin and answer f General Questin. by learning this sectin, students will have the ability t apply this grammar item.
    The Listening and Thinking lessn is “Vice yur pinin n sprtsmanship”, which is abut understanding ther’s pinin n sprtsmanship and expressing their wn pinins.
    The theme f the Reading fr Writing lessn is “Write a page in a wellness bk”. Students will learn the benefit f sprts and cultivate the awareness t sprts.

    Step1 : Lead-in (2mins)
    The teacher asks the students the questin: “D yu have weight cncerns?”、 “Have yu ever tried t lse weight?”、 “What methds have yu taken t lse weight?”
    The teacher cnclude students’ answers and pinins abut the questins that the teacher has asked and then mve t the next part: “ The herine in the text we are ging t learn tday als used t have sme weight cncerns, let’s read abut her experiences.”
    Step2: Reading (5mins)
    The teacher asks the students t read thrugh the text “Ging Psitive” in their textbk,and finish the fllwing questins:
    What prblem did Kayla have in the past?
    What dse the sentence “I almst went bananas” means?
    What made her change her thinking?
    Step3: Language learning (3mins)
    Students read the text again and finish the utline by themselves.
    After finish the utline, students cntinue t finish the fllwing exercise:
    Underline the wrds and phrases used in the text t shw similarities and differences.

    Aruse students' interest in the tpic f tday’s writing, that is, the real meaning f exercise and the prper ways t lse weight.

    Students wrk in grups t discuss the fllwing questins and als the main fcus f their writing.
    While discussin, students need t rganize their ideas and pinins, and such a table wuld help.
    Step 2: Drafting(10mins)
    The teacher asks students t write their wn articles and the teacher will walk arund t ffer help and remind students t pay attentin t the spelling, grammar, punctuatin and s n.
    Students’ writing shuld fllw the fllwing requirements:
    Start with a general statement abut the tpic and yur situatin.
    Tell the reader abut hw and why yu changed r want t change.
    Describe the changes and cmpare the (pssible) results.
    Tell the reader hw the changes have imprved r will imprve yur life.

    While discussin, students can rganize their wn pinins and understand the pinins f thers.
    When students are ding their writing task, students will srt ut the knwledge acquired in this class, and exercise their rganizatinal thinking ability and writing ability.

    pst -writing (12mins)
    Step1: Self-editing (2mins)
    Students quickly glance thrugh their writing t crrect sme mistakes that fund by themselves.
    Step2: Peer-editing (5mins)
    After self-editing, students pass their writing t their deskmate t check and evaluate their wrks. The evaluatin shuld fllw the fllwing standards:
    Step3: Sharing (5mins)
    Each students recmmends the writing in their hands accrding t the criteria and share it in the class.

    Get yur draft back and revise it accrding t the evaluating criteria and hand it in befre next class.
