Step 1 Warming up
Let Ss watch a vide abut peple and nature. Ask Ss t answer the fllwing questins accrding t the vide:
What d peple d with the frests and animals in the vide?
What will happen if peple cntinue t harm the nature?
What can we d t prtect the nature?
(Tip: T can ask Ss t discuss the abve three questins in grups and then share their answers t the whle class. Answers will vary.)
Brainstrm & Lead in
Step 1: Ask Ss t wrk in grups f fur and let Ss discuss the pllutin they knw.
Step 2: Ask each grup t summarize their discussin using thinking map (e.g. webbing chart).
Step 3: T shws the pictures f different kinds f pllutin (PPT P9-P12) t Ss and let them learn sme new phrases abut pllutin, e.g. nise pllutin, air pllutin, land pllutin, etc. (Tip: T may want t evke Ss’ desire fr envirnmental prtectin by using the pictures.)
