As an actr, yu've heard it befre: Yur bdy is yur instrument. It's a cliche fr a reasn—it's true. Just as a guitar player r vilinist needs t ften fine-tune (微调) their instrument, yu need t d the same. Here, let's break dwn everything yu shuld learn abut bdy language exercises fr actrs, as well as why they're necessary in the first place fr enhancing yur acting skills.
Bdy language is the mst emtive frm f cmmunicatin after verbal speech. Yu can learn s much abut what's ging n inside based n what's being externalized. Think abut hw sme entertainment magazines ften ask a “bdy language expert” t analyze a pht f a celebrity cuple. Hwever legit (合法的) that persn's expertise may be, there are many truths when it cmes t bdy language.
By that same reasning, think abut hw much an audience can learn abut a character based n the actr's bdy language. Yu can pass n subcnscius infrmatin abut yur rle withut saying a wrd. These exercises will put yu in tuch with yur bdy and make yu mre aware f what yu're expressing t the utside wrld. They can help yu get int the physicality f yur character s that yu can understand them inside and ut.
Each perfrmer is different and may have their preferable bdy language exercise. Take the gait(步法)exercise as an example. Hw a character walks is especially telling; it's literally hw they mve thrugh the wrld. An individual's way f walking can als change depending n hw they're feeling at the mment: excited, ashamed, scared, etc. Have a bash at different walking styles t shw the persn yu're playing. Besides, yu can write the gestures. This ne is actually a writing exercise, but it will still cme in handy when we cnstruct a perfrmance. Write ut a shrt scene between tw characters wh have an entire cnversatin using nly their bdy language.
1.What des the authr mean by citing “Yur bdy is yur instrument.”?
    A.Keeping healthy needs prper exercise.
B.Learning sme music is necessary fr actrs.
C.Perfecting physical expressin is imprtant t actrs.
D.Imprving perfrming skills needs prfessinal guidance.
2.What can we learn abut bdy language frm the example in Paragraph 2?
A.It is presented in varius ways. B.It gives us lts f infrmatin.
C.It hides the deepest feelings. D.It is likely t be ignred.
3.What is the benefit f taking bdy language exercises fr actrs?
A.Getting int the character they're playing.
B.Inspiring their greater passin fr acting.
C.Having a full realizatin f their inner bdy.
    D.Receiving mre perfrming chances.
4.Which f the fllwing can replace the underlined part “Have a bash at” in the last paragraph?
    A.Make ut. B.Adapt t. C.Try ut. D.Bring up.

Language is a part f culture and plays a very imprtant rle in it. 1 Yet language is nt the nly way t express ur ideas and feelings. Bdy mvements, eye cntact, gestures, and facial expressins are ther frms f language we call nnverbal cmmunicatin. 2 Accrding t scial anthrplgist, Edward T. Hall, in a nrmal cnversatin between tw persns, less than 15% f scial meaning is transmitted by wrds.
Different cultures have different ways f using nnverbal cmmunicatin and peple have different gestures t cnvey their expressins. Hwever, nnverbal cmmunicatin, like traffic, is nt randm (随意的);it has a purpse. 3 Learning the different cmmn rules f bdy language in different cultures is very useful fr us t understand each ther better.
Peple cming frm the same culture share cmmn understanding by using the same bdy language such as facial expressins, gestures, and bdy mvements. 4 Fr example, “arms”, which are used little by Nrdics during a cnversatin, are an imprtant element in ne's cmmunicative weapnry (武器) in Italy, Spain, and Suth America. 5 In these cultures, ne shuld stand with feet pressed tgether and hands interlaced (交错) in frnt f the bdy. In cultures such as America, where yu ften stand with yur feet shulder-width apart, arms at yur sides, standing in this fashin might be interpreted as being shy and insecure.
A.Misuse f bdy language can be unpleasant.
B.And there are cmmn rules t guide its flw.
C.Withut language, culture wuld nt be pssible.
D.Bdy language makes up the largest part f ur nnverbal cmmunicatin.

F.If yu're learning a new language, a great way is t watch mvies and TV shws.
G.In Africa, standing in a t “pen” fashin, means that yur psture might be inapprpriate.

根据第三段的最后两句“These exercises will put yu in tuch with yur bdy and make yu mre aware f what yu're expressing t the utside wrld. They can help yu get int the physicality f yur character s that yu can understand them inside and ut.” 故选A。
画线短语Have a bash at的意思是“尝试”,与Try ut意思相近。故选C。
    Ⅳ.
    Ⅴ.

That finding tightened his search, leading him t an area that resembled the terrain in the image. The final step was crss-referencing the riginal pht with 3-D images f the area frm the satellite map. The lcatins matched! Ku sn called the plice f Ventura Cunty and tld them the lcatin.
The plice f Ventura Cunty arrived at the spt immediately. Sn, a search-and-rescue helicpter was in the air, hvering abve Cmpean.
