    “Wake up! Jim! Our tent is n fire!” Allen awke me in panic. Frightened, I ran ut f the tent withut any hesitatin. The snw had stpped utside, but the wind fanned the flames f the fire twards ur tent. The tent cllapsed. We checked each ther t make sure neither f us was hurt. As we std by the burning tent t keep warm, bth f us had n idea what t d next. Suddenly, we heard a nise in the frest. Anxius, we listened and stared int the darkness.
    A jeep appeared. A frester sptted the light frm the fire and came t have a check. We jumped int the warm vehicle and the frester drve us t the ranger statin, where we were given clthes and were able t call ur parents. Allen and I had many mre camping adventures frm then n, but it was n this trip that Allen began t treat me mre like a friend rather than a yunger cusin.
