T help slve the prblem f garbage srting(垃圾分类), three students frm Xi'an Aerspace City N. 1 High Schl made a smart trash bin that uses speech recgnitin. The trash bin can even understand different Chinese lcal languages.
    “We find it's difficult t find the right trash bin fr ur daily garbage and we knw that many peple face the same prblem. That's why we want t give a hand,” said Zhang Zehua wh was cding (编程) and building a garbage-srting database (数据库). In April 2021, the three students built databases and made a srting system fr their smart bin. They learned hw t use less energy and allw the bin t wrk fr a lnger time at a lwer temperature.
    Team member Zhang Zhenjie had a difficult task t cmplete. He had t cllect data. While talking with his classmates, he fund that peple had several different ways t describe the same piece f garbage. S he made sme change f the speech recgnitin system and greatly increased its accuracy (准确性). He als cunted hw much garbage a family makes daily. This helped him chse the right space fr the bin.
    The three teenagers will cntinue t imprve the trash bin and intrduce it t mre cmmunities in the future. Maybe mre families will use their smart bins in the future.
