Every year, 28 students n the Blitz Creek team take part in a natinal rbtics cmpetitin, where students are challenged t create a rbt that can perfrm certain tasks. They design rbts, and write the prgrams that run them.
But building rbts isn’t cheap. Maxtn Herst jined the team in the ninth grade, and later he became the captain f the rbtics team. By accident, Maxtn Herst saw a vide abut a tilet paper pyramid. Maxtn realized that it was pssible t build a recrd-setting pyramid, and then sell the tilet paper t get mney fr their prgram. All the team members agreed t try his idea.
Blitz Creek has been planning the pyramid since last May. One challenge was calculating (计算) hw many rlls f paper were needed. The answer turned ut t be 27,434.
In late December, team members gave up part f their winter hliday t build the pyramid.
