    Frm sweeping landscapes t amazing buildings, Taiwan is an island that many turists visit frequently. That’s why it can seem dd that ne f its mst famus landmarks is tw humble mailbxes. Lcated in the Zhngshan District in the city f Taipei, these unique mailbxes have caught the public’s imaginatin thanks t their appearance. Unlike mst mailbxes, these tw are severely bent.
    Due t its lcatin, Taiwan tends t be struck by typhns, as it is usually hit by three r fur windstrms a year. In 2015, a particularly bad ne knwn as Typhn Sudelr struck the island. During the strm, a billbard gt lse due t the heavy winds and hit the mailbxes. While it bent their psts, it didn’t tear them dwn.
