Things yu shuld never buy n planes, accrding t flight attendant
If yu fly business class, yu can usually save by waiting t upgrade at the airprt
I knw it might sund strange, but I always advise everybdy t purchase an ecnmy ticket at hme and upgrade it at the airprt. Opting fr an upgrade will dramatically reduce the price f the ticket.
As sn as yu purchase yur ecnmy seat, yu may start receiving email deals t upgrade yur ticket but dn’t rush. Wait until yu get t the airprt and ask fr an upgrade at the cunter. Smetimes, if the plane is empty r yu have a lyalty prgram with the airline, the gate agent can upgrade yu t business class at n additinal cst. But even if yu have t pay, it’s still ging t be much cheaper than buying nline.
Just be extremely nice t the staff and arrive early s business seats are still available. But dn’t wait until yu get n the plane — flight attendants dn’t usually have that much pwer.
Never waste mney n bttled water at the airprt
Yu can’t take liquids thrugh security, but n ne said yu can’t take an empty bttle. Mst airprts are full f water funtains, and many even have a special pump t refill bttles quickly.
The same rule applies t airprt fd
Fr sme reasn, peple have a fear f bringing fd thrugh TSA security. But it’s a great way t save mney, as lng as it’s slid, like a sandwich.
If yu’re flying internatinally, it’s best t finish any fd frm yur first destinatin befre landing since sme cuntries dn’t allw fresh fds thrugh custms.
Yu can find better deals nline than at the duty-free shp
Duty-free always attracts passengers at the airprt, but the savings aren’t as gd as they seem. Sme airlines als have duty-free catalgs nbard where yu can shp in the skies. But thse prices are even wrse. Yu can find much better deals nline if yu take the time t lk.
It’s almst never wrth it t exchange mney at the airprt
T ften, peple land at an internatinal airprt and realize they dn’t have the right currency. But the airprt is the wrst place t exchange if yu want a gd rate.
Mst banks r shpping malls have currency exchanges with steadier rates if yu remember befre yur flight. And if yu frget, just get enugh mney fr a taxi int the city and g t a lcal bank.
21.What des the authr advise yu t d if yu want t fly business class?
    A.Bk a business class ticket n line.

A.Suggest what t take t thse travelling by plane.
B.Offer advice n saving mney fr airplane passengers.
C.Recmmend fd and water suitable fr flying.
D.Warm travelers nt t exchange mney at the airprt.

In areas with high-intensity agriculture and substantial warming, insect numbers have plunged by 49%and the number f different species by 27%, cmpared with relatively untuched places that have s far avided the mst severe impacts f climate change, accrding t the research published in Nature.
But the researchers said there was sme cause fr hpe in that setting aside areas f land fr nature created a shelter fr insects, which need shade t survive in ht weather.
“Careful management f agricultural areas, such as preserving natural habitats near farmland, may help t ensure that vital insects can still thrive,” said Dr. Tim Newbld, als f UCL.
Study researcher, Peter MeCann, added: “We need t acknwledge hw imprtant insects are fr the envirnment as a whle, and fr human health and wellbeing, in rder t address the threats we pse t them befre many species are lst frever.”

My friend and I called a taxi at the same time n a ride-hailing platfrm(打车平台) and fund that fr the same destinatin, the prices were different. The price indicated n my phne was higher. One f the ptential reasns culd have been that I regularly use the ride-hailing platfrm and have a higher ranking while my friend desn’t use it that ften. Data mnply als brught anther incnvenience fr cnsumers — platfrms blck links t each ther. Fr instance, link t WeChat Pay f Tencent is nt available n Alibaba’s Taba while there is n Alipay link n JD app’s payment ptins.

In July, the Ministry f Industry and Infrmatin Technlgy launched a six-mnth special rectificatin (专项治理) fr the internet industry, asking platfrm peratrs t stp blcking each ther’s link.
“Mre effrts shuld als be made t strike a gd balance between persnal infrmatin prtectin and intercnnectivity between platfrms. Cmpanies are being encuraged t further develp data encryptin (加密) technlgy s that the data are available but nt visible.”
