Can plants eat peple? Prbably nt. But there are many plants that eat meat. Sme f them are big, and they can eat small animals. One famus meat-eating plant is the Venus flytrap.
The Venus flytrap is a very strange plant. It grws in dry parts f the United States. Its leaves are like the pages f a bk. They can pen and clse very quickly. Inside the leaves, there are three small hairs. If an insect tuches ne f the hairs, the leaf clses quickly. The insect cannt get ut. In abut half an hur, the leaf presses(挤压) the insect until it is dead. Then, the plant cvers the insect with a special liquid(液体). Slwly, the plant eats the insect.
Plants are living things that have leaves and rts and grw in the sil. Mst f them get energy frm the sun, the air, and the grund. In sme places, the grund is very pr.
