    Accrding t Shen, students have enugh time t prcess new knwledge nw. “Our teachers are als giving us mre chances t d experiments and learn frm real life,” said Shen. “Fr example, we went t research earthwrms (蚯蚓) in a field during a bilgy class. This is a much better way t learn things than just hitting the bks.”
    Fr 13-year-ld Zhang Hangming frm Tianjin, the best thing abut “duble reductin” is the increased time in after-schl activities. “We can nw spend mre time taking part in clubs and activities, such as dancing, vlleyball and drama.     Bth Shen and Zhang find there are fewer exams nw. But they think it’s nt necessarily a gd thing. “Exams push me t study harder. Each exam shws my prgress as well as my weak pints,” Zhang said.
