Mike hurt his head badly when he was thrwn frm a van. “I dn’t knw why I didn’t wear a safety belt that day. Nw I always wear it,” Mike said. Tday, he can still think f that experience. “I used t lve sprts, but I can’t d them anymre. I can’t risk getting anther serius injury,” he said.
    Like Mike, many peple arund the US are becming mre safety-wise. “Parents can’t watch kids every minute. Kids must knw hw t be safe. It’s their cntrl and pwer,” says Susan Gallagher, the directr f the Safety Netwrk.
