Then it ccurred t me whether dad was hlding the rear part f the bicycle behind, I subcnsciusly lked back and fund nbdy behind. And what I did finally led t my failure in cntrl f the bike. With a lud bang, I lay flat n the rad and grazed my leg. I was abut t whine when dad came up and said, “Fifty yards! Well dne. Nw yu have becme a true man.” Hlding back my tears, I std up and tk pride in myself. As fr me, it’s the first taste f pedaling that shapes my persnality and instill cnfidence in me fr years t cme.
