Recently, ur schl held a parachute-making cntest. We needed t make a parachute with materials given t us by ur teachers. The parachutes we see in ur daily lives seem cmplicated. But it’s nt t difficult t make a simple ne.
First, we cut a plastic bag int a rund shape. Next, we sewed the bag with sme thread(线) thrugh the hle. Last, we gathered(集合) the thread and tied them int a knt with a weight.
The mst difficult part was t wrk with thers as a team because different members had different ideas. After discussin and research, we agreed that the larger the plastic bag we cut, the better it wuld be. We even learned the cntrl variate(变量) methd t knw what affects the parachute, like the weight, material, surface area and s n.
We std ut frm ur class t cmpete against the ther 12 teams in the final. The rule was t fly ur parachutes at a height f 3 meters. The winner wuld be the ne that flew the furthest. Luckily, we wn! I learned that teamwrk des play an imprtant part in ur success.
