My First Marathn (马拉松)
A mnth befre my first marathn, ne f my legs was injured and this meant nt running fr tw weeks, leaving me nly tw weeks t train. Yet, I was determined t g ahead.
I remember back t my 7th year in schl. In my first P. E. class, the teacher required us t run laps and then hit a sftball. I didn’t d either well. He later infrmed me that I was “nt athletic”.

At mile 3, I passed a sign: “GO FOR IT, RUNNERS!”

By mile 21, I was starving!
As I apprached mile 23, I culd see my wife waving a sign. She is my biggest fan. She never minded the alarm clck sunding at 4 a. m. r questined my expenses n running.

In a study participants were asked t type a particular phrase and the prgram then estimated if they were happy, sad and s n. Surprisingly it was crrect 70 per cent f the time, and the findings culd lead t smarter artificial intelligence in the future.
The study published in the jurnal Behavir and Infrmatin Technlgy was carried ut by researchers at the Islamic University f Technlgy in Bangladesh, reprts Live Science.
In the research 25 peple ranging frm 15 t 40 years ld were asked t retype tw paragraphs frm Alice's Adventures in Wnderland written by Lewis Carrll. They als had t enter their emtinal state every 30 minutes while ding their regular activities n the cmputer. This allwed the prgram an pprtunity t understand hw their emtins changed their typing style.
Mds tested were jy, fear, anger, sadness, hate, and shame. The result was that the prgram culd identify(识别) a persn' s md crrectly 70 per cent f the time. It was mst successful in identifying jyfulness with an 87 per cent success rati, while sadness was the least successful at 60 per cent. The researchers fund that the participants were less likely t input (输入) data when they were in a bad md, which may explain the inexactness f the secnd result.
