be suppsed t, 意为“(按规定、习惯、安排等)应该做某事”,可用来表示劝告、建议、义务、责任等,相当于shuld的用法。 否定形式为“be nt suppsed t d sth.” 表示不该或禁止做的事情。 t为不定式符号,后接动词原形。时态、人称和句式的变化在be动词上体现。If yu want t eat ice-cream, yu are suppsed t ask yur mum. 如果你想吃冰淇淋,应该先问问你妈妈。

be expected t d sth. 意为“应该做某事”,“被期望做某事”或,“被要求做某事”其表达的主观性比be suppsed t d sth. 更强。Yu’re expected t d yur duty.你应该恪尽职责。

探究三:It is + adj. + t d sth. 的结构和用法
It is + adj. + t d sth. 意为“做某事是……的”,其中It为形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式(短语)。I think it is imprtant t sleep fr eight hurs a night.
该句型中it为形式主语,真正的主语为动词不定式t d sth.被移到了句子后面,使句子变得平稳。如果把真正的主语放到前面,那么主语过长,整个句子就显得头重脚轻。
