On Aug 7, Xu Shixia and her partner, Sun Mengya, wn gld in the first wmen’s cane (划艇) duble 500m event at the Tky Game. It was als the first Olympic gld medal fr China in the event.

Children shuld d husewrk. That’s a cntrversial (有争议的) idea, thugh nt everyne will admit it. A few parents will say that their children are t busy fr husewrk. Many mre f us assign (分派) husewrk, r say we believe in them, but the husewrk just desn’t get dne.
That’s a prblem. Fr starters, husewrk is gd fr kids. Being a part f the rutine wrk f running a husehld helps children develp an awareness f the needs f thers, while at the same time cntributing t their emtinal well-being.

Every year, a large clud f dust rises frm the Sahara Desert. It’s called the Saharan Air Layer. Usually, it crsses the Atlantic Ocean as part f a natural cycle that helps develp farmland and beaches in Central and Suth America.
