教材分析
本课时是PEP第五册第三单元第一课时的内容。本单元的话题是食物,本单元的特点是与生活实际相结合。本教材要求学生通过这一单元的学习,能够用英语表述常见的食物名称,能够熟练运用句型征求和表达用餐意愿等。本课时学生学习的核心单词和句型是:ice cream, hamburger, sandwich, salad, tea;What would you like to eat? What would you like to drink? I’d like ... ,教材通过Sarah一家用餐的场景,让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景。
学情分析
学生在三年级和四年级的英语课程里已经学习了一些关于食物方面的知识,能够用简单的英语句型表达自己的意愿。同时这样单元的句型是在四年级上册食物单元的重点句型What would you like?I’d like ...上的进一步学习。学习难度并不是很大。
学习目标
1能够完成听录音填单词的活动。
2. 能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。
3. 能够按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。
4. 能够在情景中运用句型 What would you like to eat/drink? I’d like ... 询问并
回答某人想要吃/喝什么。
5. 能够在语境中理解生词 sandwich, drink, thirsty的意思,并能正确发音。
6. 能够运用句型 What would you like to eat/drink? I’d like ... 完成问答活动。

StepI Warm-up
1.Greetings. 用英语问候学生。
2.Let’s sing. PPT 播放歌曲What would you like to eat today? 活跃课堂气氛,引入单元话题。
3.Look, read and tick. T: What do you hear in the song? 根据歌曲内容,勾选出所听到的食物。
设计意图:由歌曲引入单元学习话题,同时复习一些食物类单词。
StepII Presentation
- 学习单词sandwich
- 由上一环节导入新词sandwich,通过跟读,指名读,小组读,齐读的方式帮助学生掌握。
- 通过图片学习sandwich的复述形式。

2)Listen and fill in the blank. 听录音,补全空缺。
3)Circle the main words
PPT呈现对话,学生听音跟读,然后圈出关键词。
设计意图:由Let’s try听力活动培养学生捕捉相关语言信息的听力技巧。
4. 2.Let’s talk
1)Watch and answer.
呈现主情景图和问题:
What would Sarah’s father like to eat?
What would Sarah’s father like to drink?
2)Let’s watch. 带着问题去看视频,熟悉文本内容。
3)Answer and check.回答问题,核对答案。
4)Listen and imitate. 分句跟读,要求学生边听边模仿。注意语音、语调和语气的模仿。
5)Group work. 三人小组开展分角色表演。分层次提成任务要求。
6)Good memory:Fill in the blanks. 完成补全对话空缺内容。
设计意图:通过读前设置问题、读后补全对话、模仿跟读、角色会话等不同活动形式理解对话并巩固语言知识。

- T: The next day, Sarah and her parents go to the restaurant. What would they like to eat and drink ? Let’s help them to finish the dialogue.
- 出示对话,小组合作完成对话并进行表演。

1星:听录音跟读对话,并熟练朗读对话。
2星:运用句型What would you like to eat/drink? 编写一组对话,不少于六句。
3星:把所编写对话进行表演或者画连环画。
