Almost all the students have to finish much homework on Saturdays and Sundays. But it seems that doing the weekend homework is a big problem for the students now. Many students think teachers shouldn’t give them much weekend homework to do. It’s enough for them to study at school five days a week. They want to do many other meaningful activities. But with homework to do at weekends, how can they find time to help their parents, go and see a football  game or a good film, or just have a rest at home? The homework can’t be finished until Sunday night. They usually finish their homework quickly, so there are usually many mistakes. Of  course, on Monday the teachers are unhappy. Since the weekend homework does little help to the students, why don’t teachers stop it? If there were no weekend homework, the students would be happy and have more energy to go to school on Monday after a good rest.
