【教学过程】
一、导入新课:
Have the students look on the book, and then answer my questions.
1.Ask and answer
Touch the book. How does it feel? Touch your face. How does it feel? Touch the toy bear. How does it feel?
2.play a guessing game
二、自主学习
Take out an apple, a plum and other things and have the students use the old rhyme as a model to create new rhymes.
Eg: An apple, a plum, I can see.
Smooth and nice, For you and me.
三、新知传授
1.Introduce: rough
1) Show the PPT of the pineapple.
2) Ask and answer:
eg: Touch it.
How does it feel?
2.Introduce: smooth
1) Show the picture: cherry
2) T: How does it feel?
Is it rough too?
3) Fill in the blanks
Touch the ____. It’s not ____. It’s ______.
3.Introduce: hard, soft
1) Show the picture: desk
2) T: How does it feel?
Is it rough too?
3) show the word: hard
4) Show the picture: pillow
5) T: How does it feel?
6) Show the word: soft
4.Free talk:
Touch the_____. It’s____. /They are____.
5.Teach the rhyme
1) Play the recording.
2) Write the key words
3) Play the recording again
6.Introduce: sharp, blunt
1) Show two pencil:
How do they feel?
2) Show the word: sharp, blunt
7: Look and say:
What is sharp?
What is blunt?
8.Introduce: thin thick
1) show two pencils: How do they feel?
2) show the word: thin, thick
四、示范制作
Have the students try to say:
I have _____. It’s/They’re _____. (thin, thick, sharp, blunt)
T: Look, I have a book. It’s thick.
I have three apples. They’re smooth and nice. Can you make some sentences?
五、课堂实践
Show a bag with two pencils, two books, an apple and a ball in it. Ask the students to guess what is in the bag. If they guess an item correctly, take it out.
Eg:
T: Close your eyes. Touch it. How does it feel?
S1: It’s smooth and hard.
T: Taste it. Is it sweet?
S1: Yes, it is.
T: What is it?
S1: It’s an apple.
Then divide the students into groups to play the game.
