【教学目标】
1.通过Say and act的情景对话,帮助学生进一步巩固和运用句型His/ Her name's …和日常用语Nice to meet you.和See you.
2.帮助学生学习字母a在单词中的发音。
3.通过学习任务,帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识。
【教学重难点】
1.语音:a (cake, table)
2.词汇:his
3.句型:His / Her name's…
4.日常用语:See you.
【教学过程】
Step1 Pre-task preparations
I.请学生手持好朋友的照片,从好朋友的姓名、年龄等方面向全班介绍。要求学生介绍时先向大家问好,接着介绍朋友的姓名和年龄,鼓励学生使用更多学过的句型来介绍。
S1: Good morning. /Good afternoon.
This is my new friend.
His/ Her name's...
He's/ She's...
II.指着一个学生手里的照片,向学生提问照片中人物的姓名及其他信息。
T: (point to the girl in S1's picture) Is she your friend?
S1: Yes, she's my friend.
T: What's her name?
S1: Her name's...
然后让学生两人一组,根据所带的家人或朋友的照片进行对话。
S1: (point to S2's picture) Who's this girl?
What's her name?
S2: She's my …Her name's …
Step2 While-task procedures
I.播放Say and act的录音,在听录音之前,教师可以根据对话内容设计几个问题,如对话中的人物,人物的姓名,做什么事情等,让学生在听录音时重点关注这些信息。
How many people are there in the park?
(Four.)
Who are they? (Peter, Sally, Paul and Kitty.)
What's Peter's sister's name?
(Sally. /Her name's Sally.)
Who is Peter's classmate? (Kitty.)
听完录音后,教师可以出示一些检测理解程度的句子,请学生用Yes或No判断,借此检测学生听录音时是否抓住关键内容。
There are four people in the park. (Yes.)
Peter has a brother and a sister. (Yes.)
Peter's sister's name is Lily. (No.)
Kitty is Peter's classmate. (Yes.)
II.播放Say and act的录音,然后出示对话的四张图片,请学生根据听到的内容,给四张图片排序,检测学生是否理解对话主要内容。然后请学生四人一组,按照课本Say and act中的人物,分角色操练和表演对话。
III.学生分为四人一组。教师出示Say and act的前三幅图片,图片上的对话格子留空(即人物的对话内容),让学生根据图片改编人物对话,自己设计第四幅图片情景,如:Peter邀请Kitty一起去公园。
E.g.:
Picture 2
Peter: This is my sister. Her name's Sally. She's eleven years old. She is tall. She can sing and dance.
Picture 4
Peter: Let's go to the park together.
Kitty: Great!
然后请几个小组上台表演他们改编的对话。也可以把挂图贴在黑板上,让学生根据图片编对话,然后四人一组表演对话。
IV.出示Learn the sounds的语音单词卡片a(cake, table),朗读单词,让学生注意字母a在单词中的发音,然后让学生跟读。
T: a, /eɪ/, cake; a, /eɪ/, table.
Ss: a, /eɪ/, cake; a, /eɪ/, table.
接着,请学生说说含有与cake中的a相同发音的单词,如plate, name, late, face等,最后,播放Learn the sounds儿歌的录音,让学生模仿跟读。请个别学生朗读。
Step3 Post-task activities
I.学生分为两人一组。请每位学生先抽取一张老师下发的小卡片(名片),并根据卡片上的内容把获取的信息告诉同学。

S1: Good morning. My friend is Peter. He is a boy. He is nine years old. He is short.
S2: Good morning. My friend is Alice. She is a girl. She is ten years old. She is short.
II.请学生在表格的Name栏写上自己朋友的姓名,在表格的其他栏里填写朋友的信息。然后在班级里以“一对一”的形式把自己的朋友介绍给同学。听介绍的学生,边听边在自己的表格里做记录。学生可以根据需要在表格中加一栏,填写自己的名字。
