教材分析

本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语3 基础模块》中第八单元的Language Practice板块，主要讲解非谓语动词作状语的用法和本单元的重点词汇。呈现了听力和阅读板块已学到的语言，也呈现了新的语法应用，继续讲解非谓语动词的用法。词汇训练为本单元的核心词汇，设置具体语境运用去巩固本单元重点单词和短语，达到真正运用的目的。

学情分析

学生在unit1，unit3分别学习了非谓语动词做宾语、定语的用法，但对非谓语动词做状语的情况不太熟悉。学生能基本辨认出句子中的非谓语动词和状语成分，但不能根据不同的谓语动词，选择正确的非谓语动词形式作状语。且大部分学生对语法学习有畏难情绪，教学过程应由简到难，结合已学知识对比学习，更系统的总结非谓语动词的知识。提高自主学习能力，注意情景创设，帮助学生掌握语法和词汇的运用。

Step 1:

Warming up

1.   Review the usage of non-predicate verbs as objects and attributive.

         The whole class expects to have a holiday.

         The students want to take a break.

         His wish to buy a car came true.

         He gave me a warming hug.

2.   Review the non-predicate verbs and adverbial.

定义，使用条件，分类

1.Review the usage and main contents of non-predicate verbs.

通过复习非谓语动词作定语、宾语的用法，和概念，帮助学生搭建非谓语动词用法的知识结构，为下一步系统化的非谓语动词做状语学习做准备。

Step 2:

Grammar

1.   Learn the grammar.

1)Show the example sentences to explain the usage of non-predicate verbs in the each sentence.

2）Teach the usage of non-predicate verbs as adverbial.

         状语：用于修饰动词、形容词、副词等的句子成份叫状语。

         现在分词表主动、进行

         过去分词表被、完成

         不定式表示将来、某一次具体的动作

（非谓语动词做状语通常可改为状语从句。）

2.   Read and group.

Read the sentences to finish task16 to group the different non-predicate verbs and their usage.

3.Read and complete.

Work in group to complete the sentences choosing right non-predicate verb.Share the answers and explain the usage of different non-predicate verb.

4.Read and complete.

Work in groups to complete the introduction about Yuan longping using the right form of the given verbs. Then check their answer and read the passage in class.

1.Read the model sentences to conclude the features of non-predicate verbs as adverbial ,take some notes to learn the grammar better.

2. Finish task16 in group.

3.   Finish task 17 and share the answers in class.

4.   Fill in the blank in group and finish task18.

通过观察、对比分析、归纳总结，总结非谓语动词做状语的用法，理解不同形式的非谓语动词表示不同的时间和语态，且经常能改为状语从句。

练习通过归类，了解非谓语动词作状语的结构，加深语法印象。

选择正确的非谓语动词补全句子，区分其不同之处，辨析掌握语法。

设置情景，练习语法运用，提高语言综合运用能力，提升学生的学习自信，并养成准确使用语言的习惯。

Fill in the passage about two role models.Check the answers together ,correct the errors and try to retell the introduction about the role models.

3.Complete the passage about two role models in proper words and phrases.Share the answers and read the passage.

学生按照思维导图，将词语填入相应位置组成完整的句子，检测本单元重点词汇的学习情况。

在具体语境中选用合适单词的正确形式进行填空，并注意意义搭配和词性，帮助学生正确使用词汇。

在阅读并理解短文的基础上，填写适当的词汇补全短文，锻炼学生正确运用词汇表达思想的能力。
