五、教学过程
Step 1 Leading in
Talk with students:
Do you know where is the store?
How do they go there?
Show some pictures of the places of interest in department store and let the students guess what they are buying. Introduce the title of this lesson.
Step 2 Think about it
1. Show some questions about the department store and ask the students to answer.[来源:Z_xx_k.Com]
What do you know about the department store?
Have you ever been to the department store? Do you want to go?
Lead the students to answer the questions and ask them try using the new expression: about.
2. Ask the students: Do you know a Chinese saying about the department store?
First, ask them to say this sentence in Chinese.
Then show the English sentence and explain it.
Read and repeat.
Ask some volunteers to recite this sentence. Have a competition.
Step 3 Listen and answer
1. Show some questions to the students.
How will they go to the department store?
Which bus will they take to the department store?
Can you show the way to the bus station? What is the way?
How do they go to the bus station?
2. Play the audiotape and ask the students to listen carefully.

Step 4 Read and comprehension
1. Lead the students to understand the dialogue sentence by sentence. Explain: went, in an hour.
