3．They’re good for us. They help us get ready for the day. 它对我们有好处，它帮助我们为一天（的活动）做准备。

  （1）句中词组help sb. do sth., be good for sb.和get ready for的意思分别为“帮助某人做某事”、“对……有好处”和“为……做准备”。

 （2）句中的ready，是形容词，意思为“准备好的，乐意的”。如：

Kitty is always ready to help others . Kitty总是助人为乐。

Are you ready? 你准备好了吗？

（1）want之后或接名词或接动词不定式。want to do sth. = would like to do sth.，意思为“想要做某事”。如：

（2）句中的learn作动词，意思为“了解；获悉；学习；学会；听到；记住”等。如：

①I’m learning English . 我正在学英语。
