(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:

1.What's up? 怎么了? 可以和 What's wrong? 或What's the matter? 互换使用。 后接with sb.或with sth.。Danny looks too excited. What's up with him?丹尼看起来太兴奋了。他怎么了?
2.be supposed to意为“应该”,相当于should,表示建议、义务或责任等。be supposed to的时态、人称和数的变化在be动词上体现,to为不定式符号,后面接动词原形。
You are supposed to write to her as soon as possible.你应该尽快给她写信。
be supposed to 的否定形式为be not supposed to,相当于should not,意为“不应该”。
Middle school students are not supposed to use mobile phones.中学生不应该使用手机。
You are not supposed to smoke in the room.你不应该在房间里抽烟。
3.辨析 person,people和man
(1)person作可数名词,指具体的“一个人”,无男女之分。 (2)people 集体名词,泛指“人;人们”,作主语时谓语动词用复数形式。(3)man作可数名词,意为“男人”,与woman相对,也可指“人类”,作不可数名词,此时不加冠词。[练一练]: She is a friendly person.她是一个友好的人。There are lots of people in the park.公园里有很多人。Tom is a good-looking young man.汤姆是个年轻英俊的男子。Man lives on the earth.人类生活在地球上。
探究四:Finish “Let’s Do it” part2~3.
四、训练环节(13分钟)Ⅰ.根据句意及首字母或汉语提示完成句子
