【学习重难点】
本单元重点复习的是用形容词来形容物品。主要句型是:This …is…. 以及It’s…. 让学生学会用形容词描述事物以及谈论商品的价格。本单元的难点是如何让学生准确把价格表示出来。
【学习过程】
Step 1 Greeting and warm up
Sing a song. “This is my new house”.
T have a free talk with Ss.
T: What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s sunny and warm.
T: ……
Ss: ……
T: What’s your favorite color?
S1: It’s blue.
Step 2 Reviews
T: Come on, show me your favorite color.
(拿出一盒长短不一的彩色铅笔,供学生挑选)
S1: (拿出蓝色铅笔)This one.
T: Can you describe this pencil?
S1: This pencil is blue.
T: Yes, and?
S2: This pencil is short.
S3: This pencil is new.
Ss: ……
T: Now I show you the color, you tell me as quickly as you can, ok?
Ss: OK.
(教师快速出示一种颜色的铅笔,学生快速反应,并用句型“This pencil is …”把颜色说出来)
Step 3
T: (拿出一支铅笔)Look, what does this pencil look like?
S1: 电线杆
S2: finger
S3: 像是数字1
T: How about two pencils? (又拿出一支铅笔,两支铅笔放在一起,呈数字11状)
Ss: Eleven!
T: How about 3 pencils?
Ss: ……
教师板书hundred 并强调在百位和十位之间应加and.
Ss: One hundred and eleven.
T: How about 4 pencils?
教师板书thousand 并强调th要吐舌头。
教师通过电脑多媒体进行数字的趣味操练,尤其重点强调千和百的读法。
Step 4
教师出示一本书。上有标价5元。
T: I’ve got a book. How much is it?
Ss: It’s 5 yuan.
T: Is it cheap?
Ss: Yes, it is.
T: This book is cheap. It costs 5 yuan.
(板书costs并说明后面的s是因为主语是it所以才加上的)
Step 5
Listen to the tape with the following questions:
Which pens does the boy buy?
How much are they?
听完录音后找出问题答案。
然后打开书跟读,强调模仿。
Step 6
电脑屏幕上出示几幅图片,上面有几样商品,大小颜色不等,价钱也各异。
T: Now you are in a shop. What is cheap/expensive? What are the goods like? How much are they?If you buy, which one will you choose?
学生小组讨论,并把句子写下来。教师进行评比, 并渗透德育,培养学生勤俭朴素的意识。
Step 7
T: Now I’m a customer, you are the shop keeper. Describe the goods and sell them to me
S1: This … is … It’s … It costs….
S2: This … is … It’s … It’s … It costs….
S3: ……
(学生拿出自己所带的物品,向老师用英语介绍商品的属性和价格并竭力推荐自己的商品。)
Step 8
小结与作业
由学生对本课所学内容进行梳理和汇总,让他们在小结时自己思考和整理本课的所学与所得。
