At the end of the class, the students will be able to:
1. learn to listen for the details.
2. learn to understand and use the passive voice(present tense) be + v (ed).
3. learn to talk about what products are made of and where they are made.
4. role-play the conversation in 2d.

2. Practice it with the sentences above.

1.Ask Ss to look at the chart and read the words.

2.Make them match the things with the materials.

4. Read the conversation in 1a. Make up a new one with partners, then present in class.
将物品与制成的材料连在一起后,编对话以达到练习本课重点句型的目的。

1. Play the tape for Ss to listen and then match the products with what they are made of and where they were made.
2. Check answers in class.
3.Work in pairs. Practice the sentences.
4.Make Ss read the conversation first, then make a new conversation with partners.

5. Call some pairs to present in class.
听听力并大声朗读句子。熟练be made of和be made in 句型,编写新对话来训练学生的口语表达能力,为2a和2b听力做铺垫。

1.Play the tape for the first time for Ss to listen. Then check the main topic of Nick and Marcus’ conversation.
2. Play again for Ss to write short answers to the questions.
3. Check the answers and read.
4. Make Ss work in pairs. Make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b.

5. Call some pairs to present in class.
