Step 1 Revision & Warm-up

借用歌曲复习上节课所学的重点词汇和句型，激发学生学习兴趣，为后面的学习做好铺垫。

       Revision

活动：开火车说句子。教师下发指令：“Red/Yellow/Green light”，

学生根据所听到的指令说出对应的交通规则。

       Warm-up

1. 课件播放歌曲“Road safety song”，学生一起唱。
2. 课件播放Main scene视频，为接下来学习创设情境。

T: When we are at a crossing, what can you see? Ss: Traffic lights.

T: What should you do?  Ss...

T: We must pay attention to the traffic lights.

Step 2 Presentation&Practice

呈现Let’s try板块的语言情境，先让学生预测对话内容，然后听录音并完成练习，培养学生良好的听前预测习惯。

通过提问，引导学生预测对话内容，培养学生的逻辑思维能力。

观看对话视频后完成选择题，检验学生对对话细节的理解。

B. Let’s try

1. 课件呈现两张图片，教师介绍听力背景。

T: Today is Wednesday. Mrs Smith and the children are on their way to

the nature park. How do they get there?

Ss: By bus.

2. 学生浏览题干，提前预测Let’s try听力重点内容。
3. 老师播放录音，学生完成Let’s try的选择题。

  T: What does Mrs Smith tell the children to do?

  Ss: They should get on one by one.

4. 老师再次播放录音，学生跟读听力原文。然后在听力原文中找出听

力题的关键信息“Let’s get on the bus.”“one by one”。

2. Let’s talk

1. 老师根据Let’s try的内容提问，介绍对话背景。

T: How's Wu Binbin's grandpa?  Ss: He’s ill.

T: What is Wu Binbin going to do? Ss:...

T: He is going to the hospital to visit his grandpa.

2. Watch and tick.

1. 学生浏览习题，预测对话重点内容。
2. 老师播放视频，学生完成选择题。

Q1: How can he get there? Ss: A. (By bus.)

Q2: When you ride a bike in the USA, you must wear a _______.

Ss: B. (helmet)

Q3: When you are at a crossing, you must pay attention to the ______.

3. Listen and repeat.

1. 播放录音，学生跟读对话。
2. 教师引导学生理解词汇“helmet”“pay attention to”“traffic”。
3. 教师讲解语法：情态动词must。

4. Read and fill in the blanks.

  学生再次读课文，根据课文内容，补全句子。

5. Role play.

1. 教师将学生分为两组，分角色朗读对话。
2. 两名学生为一组，上台表演对话。

Step 3 Consolidation&Extension

拓展一些常见的交通标志，丰富学生的课外知识，对学生进行情感价值观的渗透。

1. Tell your partner about the signs. 

  呈现Let’s talk 板块下方的图片，学生尝试说出交通标志的含义。

T：What do these signs mean? Where can you see them?

P1: You must look right before you cross the road. You can see this on

the road in Hong Kong.

P2: It means “stop”. You must stop and make sure it is safe.

P3: Don’t turn right.   P4: Don’t turn left.

P5: Don’t touch the door. You can see this in the subway.

2. Traffic signs.

  课件呈现更多的交通标志。教师向学生讲授各种交通标志的含义并提醒学生在生活中要遵守交通规则。

Step 4 Summary&Homework

小结：师生共同回顾本课时所学的词汇及交通规则。

作业：1. 背诵Let's talk部分的课文。

2. 完成本课时对应的练习。
