    一、教学内容

        Unit 6  I am watching TV. 第三课时Section B (1a-1e)

    二、教学目标

    1.知识目标

    学生能够灵活运用本单元Section A的词汇和句型结构的基础上熟练掌握

       Section B 的核心词汇和句型结构

    词汇:(1动词短语:watching TV, cleaning the room, reading a newspaper, 

               talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the computer, making

               soup, washing the dishes, exercising, drinking tea.

    2核心词汇: tomorrow, pool, shop, supermarket, man

    句型:交际用语:

    1-What are you doing?  -I am watching TV? 

                - What is he/she doing?  - She/He is reading.

                - What are they doing?  -They are exercising.

             (2)  -Are you ...?  -Yes, I am./ No, Im not.

                 -Are they...?  - Yes, they are./No, they arent.

                 -Is he/she...?  -Yes, he/she is./No, he/she isnt.

             (3)  I am/He is/She is/They are swimming/shopping in the pool/at the

                  supermarket.  

    2.能力目标

    学生能够运用现在进行时描述并谈论人们在不同的地方正在做什么,并能就该话题开展简单的会话和模拟情景操练。

    3.情感目标

    学生能够熟练的开展电话对话,并在与他人对话的过程和小组活动中启发 

    学生的思维,并培养良好的合作意识和提升交际表达能力。通过最后描述学

    生正在养老院帮助老人的活动,学生还能明白学会给予,收获幸福。

      watching TV, cleaning the room, reading a newspaper,    

      talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the

      computer, making soup, washing the dishes, exercising,

    drinking tea, tomorrow, pool, shop, supermarket, man

    2.句型:

              (1) -What are you doing? -Im watching TV. -What are you doing?  -I am watching TV?             

                - What is he/she doing?  - She/He is reading.

                - What are they doing?  -They are exercising.

             (2)  -Are you ...?  -Yes, I am./ No, Im not.

                 -Are they...?  - Yes, they are./No, they arent.

              -Is he/she...?  -Yes, he/she is./No, he/she isnt.   

             (3) I am/He is/She is/They are swimming/shopping

              in the pool/at the supermarket.  

     

    能准确使用现在进行时根据情景描述他人正在从事的活动。

     

    将现在进行时运用到学生日常生活交际对话中。

     

     

     

    通过记者采访,准确描述所设情景画面的活动。

     

    四、教学方法

       Task-based Language Teaching, Situational Teaching Method

     

    五、教学过程

       Step1Warming up and Revision

              Introduce two animals Judy and Nick from Zootopia《疯狂动物城》to

              review important sentence patterns in Section A by giving different

              situations.

              1)  -What are you doing? -Im...

              2)- What is he/she doing?  - She/He is ...

                - What are they doing?  -They are...

       Step2:  Group Work

              Six or four students a group to ask and answer what people are doing one

              by one according to the pictures.

       Step3:  Play a game about acting and guessing

              Ms Li will show you a picture with a word and the action on the screen

              and then you will act and your partner will guess what you are doing. If      

              you can't guess the action, you can say"pass". The group which wins can 

              get three flowers.

       Step4:  Make a telephone conversation

               First listen to the telephone conversation between Judy and Nick, then

               two students a pair make a telephone conversation.

               The situation of the conversation can be seen in the following.

               It is Sunday today. You are talking to your friends on the phone about

               what you are doing. May be you can do something together.

       Step5:  Listening activities

              Task1: show some different places and set the situation

              Task2: Listen and complete the chart.

              Task3: Pair-work

              Task4: Listen and try to fill in the blanks.(听力拓展环节)

                    Judy's friend Alice_____________ at the supermarket. She

                    ________ milk and bread. Mike is still at school, but he 

                    ___________ his homework. He___________basketball. And

                    Lisa ________________ at the library.

    Step6: Make sentences

          Have a discussion with your group members and make two sentences to

          describe what people are doing in different places.

    Step7: Make a report

              If you are a reporter from the school TV station. Tell the audience what is

              happening at the old people's home. Then write your report down on

              the paper.

              Its a fine Sunday morning. Some students are helping old people at the        

             old peoples home. Look! ______________________________________

    Step8: Let's share

    Step9: Homework and share wonderful pieces of life

          Bring in some photos of you and your family or friends, then write the
