Do you like snow?What can you do in winter? Ss:I can skate… T:Good idea! Step 3. Pre-reading T:Look! Who is this boy?Do you know?(出示John图片) Ss:Sorry! We don’t know. Step 4. While-reading T:His name is John. John likes winter. Q1:What’s he going to do in the snow? Q2:Did he make a big snowman?
If you find the answer, say “Bingo”. 4.Now we know John made a snowman, then what happened? Read Part 2 silently and act. He took off his hat and put it on the snowman. He took his hat off the snowman. He put his hat on the snowman. Then, what happened?
Q3:Can the snowman skate? Q4:What did John do to make the snowman skate? Q5:How could the snowman skate?
Q6:Why can’t the snowman sake in spring and autumn? Q7:Why was the snowman sad? Q8:How did John help the snowman? Step 5. Post-reading Read to the story. Play the audiotape for the story. Everyone sits quietly and follows aloud. Then, judge. ( )The snowman could talk with John’s hat. ( )The snowman had a wonderful name. ( )They can always skate. ( )John helped the snowman to find his mother. 2.Let’s answer and retell.(Look at the pictures.) What did John do for the snowman? John put his hat on the snowman. John made the snowman. John put the skates under the snowman. John put the snowman in the fridge. 3.Write the story. Look the last picture, guess what will they say? Then let’s show. Step 6. Class Closing Tell the Ss they did a great job today. Well done. Maybe you can make the same snowman in winter. Step 7. Homework. Read the story. Retell the story. 学生在有任务的驱动下,能够更认真的听故事。在听故事的过程中,寻找答案。
进一步读故事,完成表演,培养寻读策略。通过教师做示范,学生积极性大大提高,及熟悉了句子又展示了自己。
将全文听一遍,然后通过判断题检验孩子是否掌握大意。小组活动根据板书复述故事。 最后拓展故事,续写故事充分发挥孩子的能动性。这对学生的知识检测进行提高。体现了同学之间相互合作相互配合的精神,不但增加了学习的趣味性,而且在练的过程中培养了英语思维及互助学习模式。
