Task
一、教学目标
- 掌握本课重点词汇及短语:dislike, reason, ready, get ready for sth, learn, world
- 掌握本课重点句型:
They help us get ready for the day.
I can learn a lot about the world.
- 明确表格的含义,依据快乐表格完成Millie的日记。
- 仿照Millie的日记,完成一篇描写自己喜好的文章。
- 在单元结束时,能够自主评价学习成果,反思自己的不足,并加以改进。

重点:帮助学生明确表格的含义,依据表格完成Millie的日记。
难点:完成一篇描写自己喜好的文章。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Guide Ss to do a guessing game.
Describe a character and let Ss guess.
【设计意图】通过猜谜游戏引入新课。既激发了兴趣,又学习了本节课的生词。为接下来的环节做了词汇准备。
Step 2 Pre-writing
1. Guide Ss to learn words composed by dis-/im-/un-/in-
【设计意图】拓展生词中的语言点,为学生夯实基本功。
2. Show Millie’s happiness chart and guide Ss to talk about Millie’s likes and dislikes.
3. Guide Ss to work in pairs and do a role-play.
4. Ask Ss to complete Millie’s diary entry according to the chart.
【设计意图】聚焦Milli的幸福图表,谈论Millie的喜恶,在语境中内化语言和信息,在完成Millie的日记中,聚焦语言,引起学生注意目标语言的用法。
5. Guide Ss to summarize the structure of the article.
【设计意图】帮助学生回顾文章结构,为接下来的写作做好结构上的输入,同时也锻炼了学生的总结归纳能力。
6. Guide Ss to work in groups of four and introduce their likes and dislikes in their groups.
