一、教学目标
1. 了解五个元音字母在重读开音节中的发音。
2. 准确朗读单词中含有五个元音字母的重读开音节。
3. 运用本课所学读音规律,准确朗读新单词。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:指导学生掌握五个元音字母在重读开音节中的发音。
难点:指导学生运用元音字母的开音节知识读和记忆单词。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Guide Ss to sing the ABC song.
2. Guide Ss to read the five vowel letters.
【设计意图】通过唱字母歌,读元音字母,带领学生复习之前所学过的语音知识。
Step 2 Presentation
1. T introduces five new friends.
2. Guide Ss to look at the pictures and choose the right answers in the sentences.
【设计意图】通过介绍五个朋友的名字引出本课主题人物。通过选词填空引出目标单词。
3. Guide Ss to pay attention to the vowel letters in bold and their sounds.
【设计意图】通过关注目标单词中元音字母的发音,引出本节课所要学习的五个元音字母在重读开音节中的发音。
4. Guide Ss to listen and read the given words and pay attention to the sounds of the letters a, e, i, o and u.
5. T teaches Ss the pronunciation of vowel letters in open syllables.
【设计意图】通过听读词汇,总结元音字母在重读开音节中的发音规律。
Step 3 Practice
1. Guide Ss to read the words. Then put them under the correct sound groups.
【设计意图】在教授完五个音标的发音以及书写之后,首先完成书上的Part A练习,把单词按照音标分类,巩固了五个音标的发音,为下面的环节做好铺垫。
2. Guide Ss to read the new words according to the sound of the first word in each group.
3. Guide Ss to listen to the recording and check their pronunciation.
【设计意图】通过读新单词,进一步练习发音知识。再通过听录音,检查自己的发音。
4. Guide Ss to read the sentences and pay attention to the sounds of the letters in bold.
【设计意图】由读单词过渡到句子,进一步巩固发音。再通过听录音,检查自己的发音。
Step 4 Extension
1. Guide Ss to chant like this:
The little bee,
busy all day long.
He is never free.
Chicken in the car
and the car go.
That’s the way you spell Chicago.

Step 5 Summary
Summarize what they’ve learnt today.
