Dolphins are considered to be very intelligent.Let me share a personal story of how amazingly smart these animals are.
I was on vacation, and I went to a dolphin park where visitors could have lunch and swim with dolphins. My expectations were quite low for this, and I've never been a fan of animals,so I don't go to zoos.We arrived there by boat. There were about six cages (笼子) underwater. The cages had no top part, and the dolphins rose out of the water about 30 cm.So these dolphins could very easily hop-over(越过) the top part of the cages.
As our guide heard everyone talking about the cages,he started the tour by explaining the intelligence of dolphins and the deals that the guides made with them.
I'm not sure how they started, but actually it goes like this. These dolphins are wild and come closer to land during a certain part of the season when the deeper seas aren't rich in food. The dolphins will perform and live in the dolphin park, and be fed with really good food. When the hurricane (飓风) season starts, they hop-out of the cages and go back to the ocean for a couple of months until the season changes and will always return to the park with new friends.
