【教学目标】
1.学生能够运用in front of, behind, beside描述物体位置。
2.能掌握单词TV, English book, schoolbag。
3.能朗读并表演课文。
【教学重点】
理解本课对话内容,同时能够朗读本课对话。
【教学难点】
学生运用介词进行连续说话,表达物体的位置。
【教学准备】
实物、图片、头饰。
【教学过程】
I. Warming up
1.Greeting.
2.Sing a song: “Where is my pencil?”
3.Play a game “Listen and do” to revise the words “in front of, behind, beside, on, in”.
II. Presentation and Practice
1.Show a picture of a room, let the pupils look at the picture carefully and quickly, then ask them to guess places of the bed, pen, pencil, etc.
T: Where's the bed? Is it in/ on/ beside/ behind/ in front of the…?
S: Yes, it is. / No, it isn't.
2.Look at the picture again and try to find out what other things are in the room. And then learn the new words: TV, schoolbag, English book.
3.Make a small dialogue with your partners according to the picture like this:
A: Where's the bed? Is it beside the window?
B: Yes, it is. / No, it isn't.
4.Watch the video and try to understand the dialogue.
5.Listen to the teacher and draw the objects in the picture of the book.
T: The pencil is in front of the schoolbag.
Then the pupils draw a pencil in the right place.
6.Play a game. Mime some objects like pencils, pen, English book, etc.
Ask the pupils to guess where they are. We can play the game in pairs like this:
S1: Where's my pencil/ ruler/ book?
S2: It's on/ in/ beside/ in front of…
7.Say and do, work in pairs.
S1: Put your ruler on your head.
S2: Ok.
8.Watch the story and try to understand it. Then practice the story in pairs, try to act it out.
III. Development.
1.Read the dialogue and find out where the English book is.
2.Act out the dialogue with your partner.
3.Try to know about some animals' homes.
4.Try to put your things in the right place.
