There are abut 200, 000 t 240, 000 f them in the wrld. They are the smallest kind f cranes. Its eyes are reddish-range. Its neck is half black and half white. A yung crane's head is all white. The feathers behind its eyes lk like ribbns. Its beak (鸟嘴)is shrt.

Here's hw t tell whether a glass cntains（容纳）ht water r cld water-withut ever tuching it！
yu'll need
•2 drinking glasses that are exactly alike
•Ice cubes（块）
•Adult helper
•Bathtub（浴缸）r shwer
•Pencil and paper
1.Fill ne glass with cld tap water and cl it with ice cubes. Dn't use a lt f ice; just cl it a little.
2.Fill the ther glass with very ht water.
3.Pur bth glasses ut int the tub at the same tirme and speed.
Repeat this prcess（过程）a fewtimes，and watch clsely each time.
4.Ask yur helper t fill the glasses again and nt tell yu which is which.
When yu see the water splash in the tub.guess which ne is the ht water.
5. Repeat several times. Keep scre n yur paper.
Yu shuld be able t guess crrectly mre than half the time.
