设计说明 首先,通过谈论学生们最喜欢的艺术形式导入新课,然后用谭盾的音乐呈现出短语have a gift for,用老师最喜欢的艺术形式呈现出生词literature;接下来用调查问卷的形式让学生互问互答。做好了准备活动后,引入Sandy的文章,教学生如何写关于自己最喜欢的艺术形式的文章,模仿Sandy的文章结构学写自己的文章。最后讲解几个知识点,完成巩固练习。 教学目标 通过本课时的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握单词和短语:literature, praise, gift, mark, encourage, have a gift for。 2.能力目标: (1)通过学习,学会写自己最喜欢的艺术形式的文章; (2)通过训练,让学生逐步掌握写作技巧,提升写作能力。 3.情感目标: 通过学习,培养学生良好的艺术品质,陶冶艺术情操。 重点难点 重点:掌握单词和短语,并能灵活运用。 难点:学会写自己最喜欢的艺术形式的文章。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Free talk: What is your favourite art form? Ask students to talk about different art forms and their features. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the picture of Tan Dun. Present the new phrase: have a gift for. Tan Dun is a musician. His favourite art form is music. He has a gift for music. 2. Show some pictures and present the new word literature. My favourite art form is literature. I like it because it can bring me happiness. Step 3 The art form I like best 1. Work on A. Ask and answer in pairs and finish the questionnaire. 2. Work on B. (1) Listen to Sandy’s story and answer the questions. a. What is Sandy’s favourite art form? b. Did she like it in the beginning? c. When did she show an interest in it? Answers: a. Her favourite art form is painting. b. No, she didn’t like it in the beginning. c. When she was encouraged by Ms Luo. (2) Read Sandy’s story and answer the questions. a. Why did Sandy once dislike art lessons? b. What was Sandy doing as usual at Ms Luo’s art lesson one day? c. What happened as she took the brush away? d. What did she do after that? e. What did Ms Luo encourage Sandy to do? f. What is she crazy about now? Answers: a. Because she could not draw very well. b. She was playing with some paint. c. She dropped some paint onto the paper. d. She decided to blow it. e. She encouraged Sandy to keep trying and make more wonderful pictures. f. She is crazy about crayons and paints. Step 4 Writing 1. Talk about the structure and how to write about their favourite art form. 2. Give them some useful expressions and words that they can use in the passage. 3. Ask them to write their own passages. 4. Ask them to share what they have written. 5. Show them an example. Ask them to read aloud. The art form I like best Both my parents and teachers think I am able to sing well because I have a gift for singing. However,once I didn’t like singing because I was shy. I was afraid of singing in front of many people. My mother had a birthday party for herself when I was five. At the party I sang Happy Birthday To You in a low voice. After singing,all the people clapped hands. I won high praise from them. They said that I had a good voice. I felt happy. My mother encouraged me to keep trying and sing more beautiful songs. At that time I found that singing was such an interesting thing. In my free time,I often sing songs to others. I got a lot of fun from singing. Because of singing,my life becomes more colourful. Step 5 Language points 1. I have a real gift for….我对……真的有天赋。 (1) have a gift for…意为“对……有天赋”,for后面跟名词、代词或动名词。 My son has a gift for singing.我儿子对唱歌有天赋。 (2) gift 名词,意为“天赋,天资,才能”。 He has the gift of making friends easily. 他天生善于交朋友。 【拓展】gift还可用作可数名词,意为“礼物”。 It’s a valuable gift from my teacher. 那是我老师送给我的贵重礼物。 2. As I took the brush away, I dropped some paint onto the paper. 当我拿开刷子时,我把一些颜料掉在了纸上。 take away意为“拿走,拿开”,为“动词+副词”结构的短语,宾语若是名词,则放于away前后都可,宾语若是代词,则放于take与away之间。 Don’t put your bag here. Please take it away. 不要把你的包放在这里,请把它拿走。 3. Looking at the mark, I decided to blow it. 看着这个斑点,我决定吹一吹它。 looking at the mark 是现在分词短语作状语。现在分词(短语)可在句中作状语,表示时间、原因或方式等,现在分词(短语)与主语之间是主动关系。 The children had snowball fights, screaming and laughing. 孩子们打雪仗,尖叫着,大笑着。 I walked to the bedroom, following my mother. 我跟着妈妈走进了卧室。 4. She encouraged me to keep trying and make more wonderful pictures. 她鼓励我继续尝试并创作出更多精彩的画。 encourage sb. to do sth.意为“鼓励某人做某事”,encourage sb. not to do sth.意为“鼓励某人不要做某事”。 Our teachers often encourage us to ask questions in class. 我们老师经常在课堂上鼓励我们问问题。 5. I did make some wonderful pictures later. 后来我确实创作出了一些精彩的画。 这是一个强调句,强调句子中的谓语动词make。由“do/does/did +动词原形”构成。 My sister does like cakes. 我妹妹的确喜欢蛋糕。 He did go to the park yesterday. 他昨天确实去了公园。 【拓展】如果强调句子中的其他成分,可以用句型:It is/was +被强调部分+ It is Jim who took away the book. 是吉姆拿走了书。 It is by bike that he goes to school. 他骑自行车去上学。 Step 7 Homework 1. Finish your composition and share it with your classmates. 2. Finish the other exercises in the workbook. 3. Preview Unit 6 on Pages 78-79. 当堂达标 根据汉语提示完成句子。 1.
