设计说明 首先给学生呈现中外重要节日,提出问题——在中国最重要的节日是什么?以此引出在中国最重要的节日——春节以及人们庆祝春节的一些重要方式,呈现本课时的新单词和重要短语。在此基础上,呈现Millie的写作计划,根据写作计划大致让学生了解文章的结构之后,呈现整篇文章。帮助学生提炼出重要的短语和清晰的文章构架,然后让学生就自己喜欢的节日进行讨论,最后让学生写出有关自己最喜欢的节日的文章。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:important, most, off, let off, packet, red packet。 2.能力目标 (1) 完成有关节日及其庆祝方式的短文。 (2) 通过制订写作计划,培养学生良好的写作习惯。 3.情感目标 热爱中国的传统节日和文化。 重点难点 重点:春节及其主要庆祝方式 难点:写出有关自己最喜欢的节日的文章 教学准备 PPT 课件,有关节日及其庆祝方式的图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Look at some important festivals, including the Spring Festival. T: Which festival is the most important in China? Ss: The Spring Festival. Step 2 Presentation 1. Explain some important things about the Spring Festival with WH-question words like what, when, who and how. 2. Present the ways to celebrate the Spring Festival. Meanwhile, present some important words and phrases like the most important, get together, have a big dinner, watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV, red packets and let off fireworks. Step 3 Task 1. Present Millie’s writing plan and her article. T: It is “Festival Week”. Each student in Class 1,Grade 7 has to write about his or her favourite festival. Below is Millie’s writing plan. 2. Complete Millie’s article. Use her writing plan. The Spring Festival is an important holiday in China. Most Chinese families (1) _____________ it. It is always in (2) __________ or (3) ___________. It is often cold at this time of year, but people are happy. Family members (4) _____________ and then have a big (5) _________. After dinner, people like to (6) ___________. Write a short passage about Mid-Autumn Festival. One possible version: Mid-Autumn Festival Mid-Autumn Festival is an important holiday in China. Most Chinese families celebrate it. It is on 15 August in Chinese lunar calendar. We don’t go to school that day. Family members get together and then have a big dinner. In the evening we eat different kinds of moon cakes, enjoy the full moon and listen to the story about Chang’e. I like Mid-Autumn Festival very much. I always have great fun that day.
