教材分析:我所设计的内容是八年级下册,这本书编排的特点实际,贴近学生生活好用,贴近学生生活.本书分为8个单元,本课属于第二单元,本单元围绕植物和园艺这一话题展开教学,此类话题容易被学生接受,并能够主动,积极地探究学习.而本课通过对话来了解植树的过程和目的。
【教学目标】
1知识目标:1. Learn the new words and sentences in the text.
hole, large, cover, fill ,storm, dirty ,northern, bottom .
We are digging a hole.
Now, put the seedling inside , cover the roots and fill the hole with dirt
2语言技能目标：通过本课的学习，让学生们学会运用介绍植树的句式，用英语表达自己的植树过程。
3 情感目标：让学生们学会用英语介绍植树的过程，并培养自己的植树的意识，让他们意识到植树可以净化我们的环境，保护我们的地球家园。
【教学重难点】
重点：New words, phrases and sentences.
难点：Describe how to plant trees.

导入环节
(一)导入课题,板书课题
Step 1 Lead in
T: Hello, boys and girls .When is Tree Planting Day in China?
Ss: It’s March 12th.
T: What are the basic steps for planting a tree?
Ss：No
T: It’s doesn’t matter, Let’s learn it.
（二）出示学习目标
过渡语：First, Let’s read the learning aims together.
1 Master the new words and phrases，and understand the meaning of text.
2 Why do we need plants？In our daily life，why are plants important？
3 let the students learn to protect the trees and plants.
过渡语：I believe everyone can achieve your goal . Can you? Let’s begin.
Now , let’learn some new words.
Step2.Listening
T: Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.
Listen two times , the first time just listen ,the second time write the answers you hear.

Maybe you should make the ______a little bigger. It must be large enough to hold the roots of the seedling.

听力两遍，目的是锻炼学生们的听力能力，在短时间内，能够听出所空缺内容。
Step3 Reading
Read the text and order the steps of planting trees.
教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示植树的过程,并让学生用英语进行介绍。
We are digging a hole.
Now, put the seedling inside, cover the roots and fill the hole with dirt.
Please remember to put a little water in the bottom of the hole.
让学生了解植树的过程，学会用英语来表达。
T: Why is planting trees important to the environment?
Discuss the questions in groups. The teacher shows so me pictures, such as a dust storm/desert/rich lands turned into desert. Ask the students to talk about these problems for three minutes. Then we can know the importance of trees.

教学反思：·本课采用多种形式展开课堂教学，能让学生在轻松的学习过程中感受到英语学习的乐趣。在教学过程中学生活动较多，应及时纠正学生在阅读听力和写作中出现的错误。另外，要多对学生进行鼓励，即使他们只回答对一道题或只写对一个句子。
