一、教学目标

1．知识目标

⑴词汇：掌握词汇：nearly, plenty,

认知词汇：budding, millimetre, anytime

⑵短语：long for, around the world, because of, plenty of

⑶句型：1). Everyone longs for spring.

        2). The weather here is neither too hot nor too cold.

        3). Because of the spring-like weather, you can find hundreds of beautiful flowers and trees anytime of the year.

2. 能力目标

能了解描述自己所在地天气的表达法。通过设计由简到难的教学活动使学生的听说读写技能逐步深化提升。

3．情感目标

通过谈论家乡的季节，天气从而激发学生热爱家乡热爱祖国的真挚情感。

1．掌握一些和介绍季节天气有关的词汇：hot, cold, spring-like, sunshine, fresh air

2．激发学生学习兴趣，让学生学会介绍自己所在地的天气情况。

三、教学示例

1．导入示例

Lead in by discussing the following questions: What do you like best about spring? Would you like to live in a place where there are no winters? Are there any places in China where the weather is always warm in every season? What’s the name of the city?(Kunming)  In Kunming the weather is like spring nearly all year round. It is called the Spring City. Do you want to learn more about Kunming? Today we’ll learn something about Kunming.

Discuss in groups for three minutes. Then let some students present their answers in front of the class.

2). long for意为“渴望，盼望”，后接名词； long to do sth.意为“渴望做某事”如：

The boy longs for a foreign stamp very much.

Eg. I long for many presents on my birthday.

I long to go on a long holiday during summer.

根据括号中所给汉语用适当的单词填空。

2. Sentences:

1). Because of the spring-like weather, you can find hundreds of beautiful flowers and trees anytime of the year.

because of 因为 because of后常加名词，名词短语或代词。

They are here because of us.

他们是因为我们来这里的。

He walked slowly because of his bad leg.

他因为腿不方便而行走缓慢。

2).There is plenty of sunshine, too.

短语plenty of意为“许多，大量的，充足的”，既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词。如：

We have plenty of rain in summer.

There are plenty of books in our school library.
