    一、教学内容分析

    本单元主要话题是谈论我们的城市,以此来帮助学生复习并综合运用一至四单元的主要内容,注重培养学生的学习兴趣,重视激发和保护学生学习英语的热情,培养学生运用所学英语进行交际的意识和勇气。

    二、教学目标

    1. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写前面四个单元的单词。 

    2. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会写前面四个单元的句型。 

    3. 能听得懂、会说和会读前面四个单元的日常交际用语和句型。

    4. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会写短语Put on, have to, take off, on foot, get on, get off, ask the way,  have a rest.

    5. 了解元音字母组合dr, tr, sh, ch在部分单词中的读音。 

    6. 能对已学的知识进行综合性的运用

    三、教学重点

    1. 掌握14单元四会单词

    2. 掌握14单元四会句型。

    四、教学难点

    掌握14单元四会单词和四会句型并能熟练应用。

    Project 1 第一课时

    二、教学目标

    () 知识目标:

    1. 综合复习2-3单元所学公共交通及路线方位的词汇以及问路指路的词汇;

    2. 综合复习2-3单元所学的句型和日常用语:Where is…? It’s in/on … Where do you live? I live in/on … How do you go/come to …? I go/come to … by…

    3. 拓展B部分地名类词汇restaurant, post office, bank, 要求能听懂、会说、会读。

    () 能力目标:

    1. 能绘制简单的城市地图,确定学校和家所在的位置,并准确标注出地标建筑;

    2. 能根据所绘制的城市地图,综合运用第二和第三单元所学的词汇和句型介绍交通方式及路线。

    () 情感目标:

    培养学生识地图、认地图、讨论地图的能力。

    三、教学重点

    运用第2和第3单元所学的词汇和句型准确描述城市地图上家、学校以及地标建筑的位置。

    四、教学难点

    能根据所绘制的城市地图,综合运用第二和第三单元所学的词汇和句型介绍交通方式及路线。

    Step 1: Warm-up

    1. Sing a song Rabbit dance

    T: Stand up, boys and girls. Let’s sing and dance.

    S: … (学生根据PPT上的歌词跟随节奏一起表演)

    2. Sing a song: The wheels on the bus

    T: Boys and girls, do you remember the song The wheels on the bus?

    S: Yes, I do.

    T: Look, I’m the bus driver. Team 1, you’re my passengers. I need you to stand in a row, touch the shoulders of your classmate before you, and then, sing and run. When we stop, the one in front of us should join us. Understand?

    S: Yes!

    (教师做公交车司机,请一小组同学以小火车的队形双手搭在前一位同学的肩上站好,边唱边在教室中前进,歌曲唱完时,队伍面前的一位同学需加入进来继续唱歌。可以唱2遍。)

    Step 2: Review Unit 2

    1. Make a conversation

    T: Oh, you did a good job! What a lovely song! I like taking a bus. Buses are big and bright. Bus-taking is very cheap and convenient. Do you come to school by bus?

    S: Yes. / No.

    T: How about our friends? Who comes to school by bus? Do you remember?

    S: Su Hai and Su Yang.

    T: Good, and how about others? Where do they live? How do they come to school? Here’s a map for you. Please ask and answer in pairs. (PPT呈现提示句型:A: Hello, I’m … I live … I come to school … What about you, …? B: I live … I come to school …)

    2. Talk about our friends

    T: Now, boys and girls. Let’s look at this map again. This is our friends’ school. Can you talk about their family addresses and how they come to school? You can ask any of your classmates.

    S1: Where does Su Hai live?  S2: She lives on Moon Street, near City Library.

    S1: How does she come to school? S2: She comes to school by bus.

    Step 3: Learning time (Part A)

    1. Show a sample

    T: OK. Liu Tao comes to school by taxi, so I guess he lives far from school. I live near school . I’ll show you my map. Look, this is our school. Where is our school?

    S: It’s on … Street.

    T: Right, and my home is near school. You can ask me. (PPT提示学生提问)

    S1: Where do you live?

    T: I live on … Street.

    S2: How do you come to work?

    T: I come to work by bike.

    2. Draw a map

    T: This time, please open your books. Turn to Page 99. You can draw a map of your city on it. Don’t forget to mark your homes and school on the map.

    S: … (学生根据自己的情况绘制城市地图并标注学校和家的位置)

    3. Work in groups

    T: OK, it’s time to share your information. First, you can talk in groups. Ask your classmates where he or she lives, and how he or she comes to school. Then, come here and show us.

    Step 4: Learning time (Part B)

    1. Riddles

    T: Good job! I think many of you are good at drawing. Do you like drawing?

    S: Yes.

    T: Me too! I also like guessing riddles. It’s great fun! Would you like to play a guessing game with me?

    S: Yes.

    T: OK. Listen carefully. The first one, I have places but no people, countries and cities but no houses, roads but no vehicles, forests but no trees, rivers without water. What am I?

    S1: You are a map! (如果学生一时猜不出可以多给一些提示)

    T: Clever! Next, it is a place. It is green. We can send letters and cards there. The postmen work there. What place is it?

    S2: ... (学生可以用中文回答)

    T: Yes. It’s a post office. (教学post office)

    T: Next, listen up. It is another place. Usually, it is a large building where people go to eat a meal and pay for it. What place is it?

    S3: ... (学生可以用中文回答)

    T: Let me teach you the word: restaurant. Now, listen to this one. It is a place too. People or businesses can keep their money here. Do you know the place?

    T: Good try! It’s a bank. (教学bank)

    2. Match and say

    T: Look at the map, boys and girls. There are some different places around our city. (教学around our city并揭题) There are some other places on the map. Can you name all of them? Here are the hints for you.

    A. It’s a building where lots of interesting, valuable and cool things are kept.

    S1: A is a museum!

    T: B. It’s a shop where people can buy different kinds of books.

    S2: B is a bookshop.

    T: C. It’s a place where people go to watch films for entertainment.

    S3: C is a cinema.

    T: D. It’s a place full of sick people, doctors and nurses.

    S4: D is a hospital.

    T: E. It’s a very big shop which sells all kinds of food and goods.

    S5: E is a supermarket.

    T: Nice try, everybody! What’s around your home?

    3. Ask and answer

    T: Well, we can find all these places around us easily. Look at the map here. Where’s the museum?

    S1: It’s on … Street.

    T: Where are other places? Can you ask your classmates?

    S2: S3, where’s the restaurant?

    S3: It’s on … Street.

    Step 5: Consolidation

    1. Talk about the map

    T: Let me show you another map. Can you name some places around our city? For example, there is hospital on Dongfeng Road. Anything else?

    T: Now, I need you to add something on your map on page 99. You can draw the main streets and roads between your home and school. Also, you can add some landmarks around on the map. OK?

    T: Let me give you a model. (教师随机选取一组的地图介绍其中一位成员的情况)Pay attention to the singular form in the third personal. Now, which group wants to try?

    1.Continue to introduce your map information in groups.

    2.Write down one member’s map information in your exercise book.

    2. 在小组合作中,综合运用第1单元至第4单元所学知识,培养热爱学校,积极阳光的情感态度。

    2. T: Good job! We have learnt some useful sentences to ask and show the way.

     PPT: (1) 当你想要问路时,你可以有礼貌地说: Excuse me!

    你可以问:

    How do I get to...?   Where is …?  Do you know the way to …?

    (2)  当你想要给别人指路时,你可以用以下句子:

            Turn left/right at the traffic lights.
